The Good News
In order to understand the good news we must first start with the bad news. All of us fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We have all sinned and the wages of sin is death. Sins include lusting, lying, idolizing things such as money, using the Lord's name in vain or anything else that is not in line with God's will for us. Without God's grace we would all be guilty. Only one person lived a perfect, sinless life and that was Jesus Christ.
That leads us to the good news…
God loves us so much he sent his only Son, Jesus Christ to come down to earth in the flesh and die for our sins. He lived a perfect sinless life and was crucified on the cross and rose from the dead three days later. He took all of our sins to the cross with him so that those who believe in Christ are washed clean and blameless. Romans 10:9-11 if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Jesus loves you! He loves you so much he died for you. He wants to have a relationship with you right now. Put your faith in Him and make Him King of your life today. Turn away from sin and receive the gift of eternal life.
