The Good News
In order to understand the good news we must first start with the bad news. All of us fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We have all sinned and the wages of sin is death. Sins include lusting, lying, idolizing things such as money, using the Lord's name in vain or anything else that is not in line with God's will for us. Sin has caused us to be separated from God and spiritually dead. Only one person ever lived a perfect, sinless life and that was Jesus Christ.
Now for the good news…
God loves us so much he sent his only Son, Jesus Christ to come down to earth in the flesh and die for our sins. "For God so loved the world, He sent His only Son that whoever believes in Him should never perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 . He lived a perfect sinless life and was crucified on the cross and rose from the dead three days later. He took our sins to the cross so that those who believe in Christ are washed clean and blameless. He took the penalty we deserve so we don't have to. It is by His blood we are set free from sin. We can't earn our way to heaven. No one is a good enough person to make it. We are saved through faith, not works! When we trust in Jesus alone and receive His sacrifice we pass from life to death and are made new in Christ! We become a new creation no longer dead to sin. Romans 10:9-11 if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
God loves you! Romans 5:10 says "For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. Put your faith in Christ and make Him King and Lord of your life today. Turn away from sin and receive the gift of eternal life.
We encourage you to read Gods word and spend time with the Lord in prayer. The Bible says "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" Romans 10:13. We are happy to pray for you. Send a prayer request by filling out our contact form.
John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
